In the interests of safety, environmental protection, and the enjoyment of all visitors, the following regulations shall apply to all persons entering Mescar Fisheries. Entry to the premises constitutes acceptance of these terms.

1. Follow Staff Instructions – You must follow all directions given by authorised staff, including cleaning and spraying equipment before fishing.

2. Fishing Hours – Fishing is permitted during daylight hours only; night fishing is strictly prohibited.

3. Keepnets – The use of keepnets is not allowed.

4. Braid Hook Lengths – Braid hook lengths, including coated braid, are not permitted.

5. Hook Size & Type – Only barbless hooks, size 10 or smaller, may be used.

6. Floating Baits – Floating baits (including floating bread and biscuits) are not allowed.

7. Mandatory Equipment – All anglers must use a landing net and an unhooking mat.

8. Lure Fishing – Lure fishing is not permitted.

9. Illegal Substances – The use or possession of illegal drugs is strictly forbidden.

10. Litter – All litter must be placed in bins provided or taken home. Littering is prohibited.

11. Fires & Cooking – No barbecues, open fires, or flames are allowed.

12. Supervision of Minors – Anyone under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.

13. Liability – All visitors, vehicles, and belongings are on site entirely at their own risk. The proprietors accept no
responsibility for loss, damage, or injury.

14. Respect Nature – All plants, wildlife, and natural features must be treated with care and respect.

15. Noise Levels – Keep noise to a minimum and act with consideration towards others.

16. Rod Licence – Membership shall be at the discretion of the Committee, and all members must hold a current
Environment Agency Rod Licence when fishing club waters.

17. Bivvies – Bivvies can only be used at the discretion of Mescar Fisheries staff.
Failure to comply with these terms may result in immediate removal from the premises without refund. We
reserve the right, in cases of any violation of these terms, to impose a permanent ban from the premises
and/or terminate membership without prior notice.
